Configuration Management Assistant (CMA)
Description of Position
Candidate
will provide technical and administrative direction and surveillance over the
life cycle of both hardware and software configuration items. Provide for the
documentation of software and hardware systems that includes the maintenance of
a software baseline library. Support Configuration Control functions that
include maintaining relational databases, circulating Change Proposals,
updating documentation, and tracking digital media. Ensure compliance
with applicable DOD, Industry and Configuration Management guidance,
regulations, policies and best practices, taking into account the owning
organization as well as the nature and complexity of the system being
developed. Establishes procedures to effectively manage the functions of change
control and configuration. Experience/familiarity with the Rational Tools
Suite especially ClearQuest/ClearQuest UCM, ClearCase, and RequisitePro is
required. Experience with RSA (Rational System Architect), Test Manager,
and other tools are desired. Experience with Key Management
Infrastructure (KMI) a plus.
