Description of Position

Description of Position:

·        Prepares, develops and coordinates the Integrated Master Plan and Integrated Master Schedule to meet all program objectives. 

·        Ensures major projects and program schedules and plans are horizontally and vertically integrated across company functional groups including finance, engineering, material, manufacturing, and quality. 

·        Tracks plans and schedules, performs risk analysis, identifies and resolves critical path and network logic conflicts. 

·        Utilizes Gantt, PERT, milestone charts, earned value management and other project management techniques to gauge progress and identify performance variances to facilitate focus and intervention on critical areas.  

Basic Qualifications: Bachelors + 10 years of experience or Masters + 8. 

·        Candidate must have a complete understanding and application of principles, concepts, practices, and standards; full knowledge of industry practices, and be able to independently demonstrate the skill and ability to perform fairly complex professional tasks.

·        Program-specific Quals:  Min 5+ years of project / program scheduling and program controls (Agile experience would be a plus). 

·        Min 5+ years of experience with Primavera schedule software (prefer Teamplay / P6 experience, however will consider P3 / P3E experience). 

·        Strong people skills, will need to work with customer and contractor Control Account Managers to extract details to develop schedules and procure status on weekly business rhythm and interface with PP&C team to support monthly CPR business rhythm.

 

Minimum Requirements

  • At least three years of direct experience with an intelligence community or signals intelligent activity, five years preferred.
  • Minimum ten years (total) experience creating, maintaining, and tracking integrated master project schedules for programs that exceed $5M a year in cost with: Using Microsoft Project, Primavera or similar scheduling software including identifying the critical path, resource loading, project linking, and cost/schedule integration.
  • The candidate must have demonstrated knowledge of the NSAW Systems Engineering process in programs that encompass system architecture, requirements analysis, system documentation, system evaluation, and process execution and evaluation.
  • Minimum three years experience creating, maintaining, and tracking earned value using project management tools.
  • The candidate must have a total of ten years experience with MS Project and Primavera, and no less than three years with either MS Project or Primavera.

 

Experience with:

  • Associating risk and risk mitigation
  • Software and hardware requirements
  • Status activity reports
  • Schedule review
  • The candidate must have five years experience with programs using multiple, interdependent schedules.
  • The candidate must have demonstrated ability to write schedule portions of system engineering documentation and be able to deliver technical presentations.
  • The candidate must be results oriented, self-motivated and an effective communicator.

 

Preferred Skills

  • Experience creating large scale, integrated master schedules.
  • Experience with MS Project and Primavera.
  • Knowledge of the Systems Engineering processes.
  • Experience using Primavera for earned value management.
  • Knowledge of the  SIGINT mission systems.
