Systems Engineer - LINUX
Description of Position
Practical experience evidenced in the following:
§ VMWare or other virtualization experience
§ Linux operating system experience – certifications a major bonus
§ Perl, Shell scripting (candidate will be writing code), Python and/or Ruby (Ruby is acceptable, but would prefer a python programmer)
§ RPM creation experience and Kickstart experience
§ Ability to design complex collection systems
§ Program debugging
§ Integrating systems using Linux operation system
§ Performing system validation and verification
§ System performance analysis
§ Ability to objectively assess architectural limitations or shortcoming in such areas as scaling, speed and throughput
§ Solid understanding of applicable commercial technologies including hardware acceleration, and commercial best practices.
The successful candidate will have hands on experience in engineering, documenting integrating and testing operational SIGINT systems.
