Systems Engineer level 3 (SE3) Usability Engineer
Description of Position
At least ten (10) years in this or related field and have familiarity with task analyses, user interface design, and usability testing. Advanced degree in cognitive and/or experimental psychology, human factors engineering, or an engineering related field (e.g. system engineering, software engineering, business process engineering) is desired.
• Experienced in each of the usability and software engineering cycles phases (analysis, design, implementation, and deployment).
• Working closely with users (analysts) to research for and document user profiles, analysis task, workflows, and user scenarios.
• Working with users to collect and document user performance requirements.
• Creating user interface design specifications, as required.
• Experienced working closely with product designers and process engineers developing applications.
• Conducting usability testing.
• Designing and developing user surveys to obtain user feedback.
Additionally the following experience is desired:
• At least five (5) years user-centered design and testing experience
• Professional certifications such as Certified Human Factors Engineering Professional, Certified Usability Analyst, or their equivalent.

Salary: Salary commensurate with experience.
