Description of Position
Description of PositionAs part of the Communication Design and Development (CDAD) team, the Technical Writer will be responsible for preparing, reviewing and maintaining technical and non-technical documentation, spreadsheets and presentations in support of the Government customer. This individual will work with the team and Government Senior Leadership as the primary technical content contributor for T1 and its subordinate organizations. In this role, the individual will be responsible for preparing technical content for papers, and briefings, and also serve as the technical content advisor in support of the CDAD team. In addition to technical content, this individual will be responsible for assisting the graphics team in the interpretation and storyboarding of architectural concepts and scenarios. This individual must be capable of working in a fast paced, agile environment, where priorities and requirements change daily; SIGINT and TURBULENCE experience desired.
Required Skills & Experience:
• Minimum ten years of technical writing experience preparing documents, reports,
responses, and briefings targeted to a wide range of audiences including senior
management.
• Experience in effectively formatting/editing technical publications to include
writing, editing and illustration.
• Fluent in PowerPoint, MS Word, MS Project.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite desired.
• In-depth experience with word processing, presentation, spread sheet and
database software is required.
Education: Bachelor’s degree and meet the experience requirement or equivalent
documented combination of training and experience.
Security: Required - TS/SCI with full scope polygraph; CCA clearance acceptable while
being scheduled for life style polygraph.

Security Clearance: Top Secret with Lifestyle Polygraph
Location: MD, Laurel/Ft Meade area
Salary: Salary commensurate with experience.
